Problem

Nested references are being loaded although nest depth is set to 0.

Solution

This is due to the dependency manager. If there are dependencies between the master model/reference model and one of the nested references, the nested reference will still be loaded regardless of the value for Live Nesting. There is no user setting to disable this result.

The theory is that the dependency mgr will try to load nested references only

1)  if there is an element in a reference that depends on an element outside of its own model, and

2)  the model containing that root element is not found.
