How to use Engineering Links if the file resides in a path that contains spaces in the name.

Solution

If the path to a file contains spaces, to access through Engineering Links, the url path should be entered using %20 in place of the spaces. The url window will show %20, but the link will indicate the spaces.

Example: if path is C:/program files/test/file.dgn,

keyin would be: ustnkeyin://newfile c:/program%20files/test/file.dgn or
file:///c:/test/file.dgn
