Problem
How can a resource file be added to MicroStation?
Solution
The resource file will need to be added to the search path for the variable MS_SYMBRSRC.
- WorkSpace > Configuration
- MS_SYMBRSRC
- Choose the Select button
- Add the path for the new resource file
- Select done
- Select ok
- Select yes to save
- Restart MicroStation
or
- Workspace > Configuration
- Look for MS_SYMBRSRC
- Check the path in the expansion field.
- Copy the RSC file into one of the paths in the expansion fields.
