Problem

Moved the project folder and the units.def file to the network location. When Microstation is opened the units.def file is not being picked up.

Solution

The MS_CUSTOMUNITDEF variable was still pointing locally. Had the variable redirected to the network location.

Select:

Workspace>Configuration>MS_CUSTOMUNITDEF

Browse to the current location of the Units.DEF file.

Save Settings

Save

Close and Reopen Microstation
