I have a reference file that I use in a number of sheet files.
Most often I create a "collector" drawing where I reference all my design files, turn levels on and off (global display) and adjust level symbology to produce the 'look" I want for a certain type of plan sheet. Most of the time, this works well.
I have one DGN file (of unknown origin!) that has one level that refuses to turn off. View display, Global display, Global freeze - none of these has any effect. I turn the level off in level display, look back at my view, and the level is still showing. re-open level display, and the level is still on. All the other levels "behave" correctly - I can turn them on or off at will. This behavior happens in every file this drawing is referenced to.
I have never seen this before.
I am getting really tired of my engineers sending me markups that tell me to turn "this" off...
