The Add Link tool is pretty useful. I think that it is a bit under-utilised at the moment.
To add a Link to a element in a model, the user first has to add the Link to the Project Explorer Links tab... using drag and drop (Bravo!). He then has to drag and drop the Link on to the element in the View Window.
What would be great is if the user could drag the Link Target document from MS Explorer onto the host element in Mstn... in one smooth move (using the Alt-modifier). There seems to be plenty of precedents for this.
This will help open up a big productivity path for users on large long horizon projects with heavy assurance requirements, where lots of cross checking is required.
The other thing to provide is a built-in option in the PE-Links tab to sort the Links by element. A room or space or asset would have multiple links. Things would get unmanageable very quickly without a sorting or folder structure.
