Problem
How to create text styles in MicroStation v8 and where to locate these tools.
Solution
To open the Text Styles tool you should go into the menu:
> Element > Text Style
You should then see the Text Style dialog box.
Select the "New" icon, which looks like a blank piece of paper, or select "New" from within the Style menu pull-down.
Highlight the "untitled" text and enter a new text style name.
Set up the desired settings for the text style which could include various items under the General tab like:
- Font
- Height
- Width
- Justification
- etc.
After these have been finalised click on the "Save" icon or select "Save" from the Style menu choose "Save".
