Creating Links (relative path)

I am linking text with photos. Currently we are using a script that places the text, and then creates the link. Here a sample of the keyin:

PLACE TEXT
RIGHT TURN AHEAD\010WITH PHOTO OF BASE
XY=1571686.896,10293428.291
RESET
CHOOSE LAST
ELEMENT CREATE LINK FILE Y:\TEST_MICROSTATION-LINKS\Photos\SEG-01A\20009_01.JPG
RESET

The problem is that the link is not a relative link. Is there a way to remedy this using our current method?

FYI, the dgn file path is: Y:\TEST_MICROSTATION-LINKS\
