Problem
How to set reference start in folder when attaching references.
Solution
MS_REF_DEFAULTATTACHDIRECTORY = desired folder.
Set this configuration variable to the location for MicroStation to start from when browsing for a reference during attachment.
If not set, MicroStation will start in the last used location (as set in the current user preference file (UPF).
Optional:
-To start from the active files folder set variable as follows:
MS_REF_DEFAULTATTACHDIRECTORY = $(_DGNDIR)
-To start from the Parent directory of the active files folder set variable as follows:
MS_REF_DEFAULTATTACHDIRECTORY = $(parentdir (_DGNDIR))
-To start from the active project folder set variable as follows:
MS_REF_DEFAULTATTACHDIRECTORY = $(_USTN_PROJECTDATA)
