Problem
Using back slashes or forward slashes in UNC paths. Does it matter whether back slashes or forward slashes are used when defining a UNC based variable within a configuration file?
Solution
Standard Windows formatting designates that UNC paths always begin with two back slashes:
\\
vs. forward slashes:
//
Within MicroStation configuration files, a single forward slash is typically used to separate directories.
