Download in Google Chrome browser does not work

Problem Description

When downloading a product directly from selectservices.bentley.com or from a link received in Fulfillment document via Google Chrome browser the download process does not start.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Click the Chrome menu in the top right hand corner of your browser
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Show advanced settings
  4. Under the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.
  5. In the "Pop-ups" section, click "Manage exceptions..."
  6. In the Pop-up exceptions dialog box, under the tab "Hostname pattern" click in the field and add the domain for which you want to create an exception:                        [*.]bentley.com 
  • To create exceptions for an entire domain, insert [*.] before the domain name (e.g. [*.]bentley.com. This will match drive.bentley.com )
  • You can also specify an IP address, an  IPv6 address, or a non-http URL.

  • Use the dropdown menu to choose the exact behavior for the site or domain: Allow or Block.
  • You can also remove exceptions using this dialog. Simply hover over the site or domain and click the X that appears and then click Done
