Problem
How to remap Level Names to Level Numbers in the Save as V7 process
Solution
1. Open the Save as V7 Options dialog box (Click Options in the Save as V7 dialog box to get to this)
2. Select the Remap tab
3. Create a Remapping CSV file by clicking the New icon
4. Click the Manipulate CSV icon if Excel does not open automatically and Excel will open an XLS file of the same name as the CSV file you just created
5. Select Enable Macros when prompted by Excel
6. Select the Levels Worksheet
7. In the first column labeled Levels, the V8 Level Names can be entered manually or select the icon next to Levels to populate the columns with the Level Names from the file opened in the current session of MicroStation
8. Enter the Level Number to which you would like each Level Name mapped to in the V7OuputLevel column
9. Save the XLS file and the changes will be made to the corresponding CSV file
10. In the Remap tab of Options dialog box toggle On "Apply Level Mapping"
11. Click OK to save the file to V7
