Problem
Have some interesting corrupted cells that I cannot figure out how to
fix.
Cells have lost their name, and have been unable to correct this.
It "appears" like something somehow got corrupted, either in V7 or in
the conversion from V7 to V8 format. The V7 files are too old to be of
any use and I do not have them.
Would you please help figure out what is wrong and how to fix these?

Solution
Cell are now orphaned cells. Use the replace cell tool, and do a global replacement of the cells.
