Problem
Having produced a 3D plot of a MicroStation animation to PDF, when the PDF file is opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader the Animation Camera is seen moving but the graphics remains still.
Solution
Before printing to 3D PDF, check that the Animation Camera has a Target scripted. Using the Animation Preview tool verify the animation displays correctly in the MicroStation View such that you seeing the View from the Camera where required.
- On the Print Dialog, select the Bentley PDF printer driver (pdf.pltcfg)
- Check the box 'Print to 3D'
- Select the View: #
Where # is the View # in which the Animation Preview is displayed correctly, with the View Attribute 'Camera' turned on.
