I use .dgn files (Microstation V8), but suppliers often can only provide files in a different file format like e.g. .dwg, .dxf, .stp from AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc.
What I’m concerned about are the levels, it only shows me that all elements of the converted model are in one (the same) default level,
To have different levels (e.g. for columns, cranes, tools, assist devices, text, floor markings, clearance; and all in 2D and in 3D) is necessary because the clearance completely covers the equipment - I moved the overall clearance (in purple, see below) out and then there are still “part clearances” at the machine. Normally I would just turn them off or make half transparent, if they had their own level.
I suspect that those different levels got lost during the conversion, is there a way to keep them?
