With Performance the improvement is anywhere from a 120 - 250% faster opening of files of gigabyte-sized file size.
In addition to this, the V8i Task Navigation interface is now easier to get to with an entry point now in the Task Navigation interface for those who prefer this UI as a way to gain familiarity in MicroStation CONNECT Edition with the Ribbon Interface. We’ve eliminated the need to set a configuration variable and change the User Preferences.
If you do visualization and rendering, you’ll be excited that we are introducing PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials to allow you to make your renderings even more stunning and appealing.
