How to Quickly Generate a Debug File

 Product(s):MicroStation
 Version(s):08.09.xx.xx and above incl. CONNECT
 Environment: N/A
 Area: Configuration
 Subarea: N/A

Background

A Debug file can be very useful in investigating configuration issues as it contains all the variables contained in all the configuration files processed by MicroStation. To see a listing of MicroStations Configuration generate a debug file from a modified shortcut.

Also in CONNECT Edition look at the options in the Configuration Variables dialog File menu, Show Configuration Values and Print Variable information.
