Unable to open embedded DGN file by double clicking even MicroStation V8i installed

When I embedded DGN file in Microsoft Word, I could not able open the file by double click even though  MicroStation V8i is installed and this issue occurs only when I install AutoCAD first.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install AutoCAD
2. Install MicroStation
3. Open Word document
4. Place the DGN File on to the document.
5. Double Click the object to edit.
6. A message pop up is shown.

AutoCAD changes the Type of the file from "Bentley MicroStation Design (.dgn)" to  "DGN(.dgn)"

Is there any way where the type of the file should not change or is Bentley View V8i is not supported to open the "DGN(.dgn)" type files.

But the issue is not reproduced when I Install MicroStation V8i first and able to open the file directly without setting the Default program.
