Lines change color after crossing over them with my cursor

I am using V8i and work only in 2D.

Explanation: 

Ever since I started using my new laptop at work, my line colors will change. Hovering over a line will highlight yellow to select it like normal. If I move my cursor away from the line it will change colors until I use "Fit View." White lines do not change, but all other colors do (ex: red to blue & blue to red). It is only a display issue, all the properties stay the same.

Question:

Does anyone have information on why the display colors would change from just hovering over a line?
