When some of the icons or toolboxes seem to be missing in MicroStation V8i / CONNECT Edition

Solution

In Microstation toolboxes can be shown or hidden. If you right click on the main tool palette you can check or uncheck the toolboxes on or off. If you open a toolbox and right click on a tool in the toolbox you can do the same.

NOTE: If tool is not discoverable it may be down to organization’s customization / configuration – Check MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST variable especially if it’s a custom tool that’s not available
