Problem Description
When I attempt to place a new detail symbol i.e. detail call out in MicroStation with Descartes running the callout appears to place but then disappears.
Steps to Resolve
Call out does not displaying when Descartes running with “Automatic Vector Stamping” turned on.
Turn off:
1. Go to checked on under File >Raster Manger>Tools>Rasterize> "Line Mapping Settings” tool on toolbar
2. Uncheck "Automatic Vector Stamping"
This setting when turned on will rasterize any vector data that is selected or created while this setting is on.
