How to access the list of available Workmode Capabilities for the configuration of MicroStation.

Solution

Prior to the release of MicroStation V8 XM Edition the V8 Workmode Capabilities were listed in the file:

workmode.cfg

located, by default, in the folder:

..\Bentley\Program\MicroStation\config\system\

With the release of Microstation V8 XM Edition this filename had change to:

Capability.list

and is now located, by default, in the folder:

..\Bentley\MicroStation\config\system\

It is not recommended to make any changes in this file including setting a Capability configuration.

Instead, changes should be performed within the standards, project or user configuration level.
