Problem

How is the Polar Moment of Inertia calculated about the Z axis for the
Measure Area tool?

Product: MicroStation V8 2004 Edition
Version: 08.05.02.27
Area: Dimension/Measure

Solution

The Polar Moment of Inertia or Torsional Stress is calculated by adding the Moment of Inertia for the X and Y axis' due to the Per perdicular Axis Thorem.
