Problem Description

MicroStation crashing when Create or Edit Text tools used after install or update of Internet Explorer 10 (MSIE V10)

Steps to Resolve

1. Update the Graphics Card driver
2. See the following article regarding updating Graphic Card Drivers (Note the section regarding Mobile platforms e.g. Laptops, Notebooks)

Newer versions of Internet Explorer use GPU-accelerated rendering for performance reasons. Therefore, it is conceivable that updating the graphics driver could impact Internet Explorer, since different versions may be exercising different functions of the video card.
